The Tasmanian Pepper Berry

The Tasmanian Pepper Berry is an indigenous Tasmanian plant that has an aromatic berry with an intense spicy, fruity flavour.  It is a deep purple colour and is a favourite ‘bush food’ of innovative Australian chefs.

Hand-harvested from the wild Tasmanian bush, Tasmanian Pepper Berries are mixed with our natural sea salt to create a unique seasoning that bursts with vibrant pepper and fruits.

Perfect for seasoning meat or vegetables, this mix can also be used as a finishing salt or simply as an alternative for traditional salt and pepper.

Wild harvested Wakame Seaweed

Wakame seaweed comes from the upper leaves of the Undaria plant which grows wild in the pristine waters of Tasmania’s South East Coast.

Packed full of sea minerals and nutrients, the Tasman Sea Salt and Wakame Seaweed mix gives a delicious umami flavour that adds an incredible depth of flavour to seafood and vegetable dishes.

Eight-hour cold smoke

Our 100% natural Tasmanian sea salt flakes are cold smoked over Tasmanian oak chips for eight hours. Tasmanian oak is a native Tasmanian hardwood which, despite the common name ‘oak’ is actually a Eucalypt - Eucalyptus delegatensis. The Tasmanian timber provides for a sophisticated salt with a richly aromatic smoky caramel flavour.
